Barring some cataclysmic event, it looks like Hillary Clinton vs. Donald Trump is going to be the matchup in the presidential election this fall. It's a race that could get very interesting before it’s all over. Of course, no election that includes Trump could possibly be boring. We’ve been witnessing that since he launched his primary campaign last June. He is a very unpredictable person who employed a brutal no-holds-barred strategy against his primary opponents, so it’s no telling what kind of tactics he will use against Ms. Clinton. The safe assumption would be anything and everything. One thing I’m sure he would do is give her some of that equality she’s obviously been desiring for so long.
Unlike most male politicians, Trump doesn’t buy into the conventional foolishness that says they need to go easy on their female counterparts. He’s especially not going to feel any obligation pull any punches against one like Hillary, who is such an icon of modern day feminism. She wants to be treated as the equal to any man? Okay, fine. That’s what she’ll undoubtedly get from Trump. Trump will say, “You want equality? I’ll give you some equality. Take that! And that! And that! And that! How do you like your equality?” My guess is that she might not be too happy with the brand of equality she gets from Mr. Trump. But it’ll probably be exactly what she deserves. Perhaps Hillary should be careful what she wishes for.
