Most people can be put into one of three groups, when it comes to their view of germs: those are indifferent about germs, those who are germ avoiders, and those who germ resisters. Very few people can be classified as germ avoiders and germ resisters. Germ avoiders tend to not put much effort into resisting germs, while germ resisters tend to not put much effort into avoiding germs.
Germ avoiders will go out of their way to make sure their environment is germ-free. They constantly use sanitizers and other such products. They try to sterilize everything. They won’t go places where sick people are. If they still happen to encounter a sick person, they will quicker get away from them or keep them at arm’s length.
Germ resisters, on the other hand, concentrate on building up their immunity to germs. They get plenty of rest, exercise often, and eat nutritious food in order to build up their resistance to infections and illnesses. They always get their flu shots and other immunizations. I consider myself a germ resister, so I believe this is the best course of action to keep from getting sick.
