Are you one of those folks who claim that they do not judge others? If so, then I’ll be blunt – you’re a liar. Yes, you may actually refrain from judging people for personal peccadilloes suck as their lack of Christian values or moral turpitude. If that’s the case, then Congratulations! But before you pat yourself on back and starting thinking too highly of yourself, I have a few questions for you.
Do you think child molesters are disgusting? Do bigots make you angry? Would you have a problem with convicted felon moving in next door to you? Do you sometimes lose patience with people who have political views that are much different from yours? Do you think some religious zealots are crackpots? Have you ever accused someone of being cowardly? Do you resent those who are uncouth? Do you find morbidly obese people repulsive? Do you have a negative view of someone who is cruel to animals?
If you answered “yes” to any of questions, then you do indeed judge people, despite your claims to the contrary. Judging is part of the human experience and condition. So stop lying and admit that you do it.
